Sinai Rusinek

Sinai Rusinek is a consultant, project lead, and entrepreneur of various Digital Humanities projects, currently mainly active at the Elijah Lab, Haifa University, the Open University, Tel Aviv University and Tel-Hai Academic College. Her main interests and expertise lie in digital editions, spatial humanities, and digital history from archival sources and historical newspapers. Sinai is also part of an independent team (Dh-dev) that specializes in digital tools for Humanities scholars and Heritage institutions and web applications to produce and publish their work. 

At the Yekke archive, Sinai is responsible for developing the vision for a digital research archive, experimenting with and implementing state-of-the-art tools and methods to enrich the archive’s information and make it accessible for research on the history of German-speaking Jews in Israel.
