Dr. Irit Chen

Archive Director

Irit Chen is the Archive’s academic director. Her research focuses on the history of German-Israeli relations, Jewish life in Germany after 1945, and the relations between Israel and Jews in Germany and German-speaking Jews in Israel. She is a teaching associate at the HCGES and the editor of Yakinton-MB, the magazine of the Association of Israelis of Central European Origin.
