Education: B.A in History, M.A in International Relations.

Why am I studying at the HCGES: This program is a great opportunity for me to explore the historical experiences of German reunification and spark more ideas on my current research about the route of the reunification of China and how to maintain social stability and prosperity through suitable governance after unification.

Intend Academic Focus: Comparative Politics and Identities.

Past and Current Work Experience: Currently, I’m a PhD student in political science at Xiamen University in China, specializing in Taiwan politics and cross-Straits relations. Before starting my doctoral study, I have received my MA                                                             in International Relations from Huaqiao University in 2016. Additionally, I was a visiting student at Emory University                                                             and a short-term intern at the Carter Center in 2015, where I researched my graduate thesis. Also, I was an exchange                                                           student at National Taipei University and commented on Taiwan’s elections.
